This Kindergarten has been operated by the Blockhouse Bay Baptist Church as a service to the community since 1973, and we aim to give quality preschool education in a caring Christian atmosphere. We run as a non profit-making kindergarten, so our charges are kept as low as possible to enable as many families as possible to have access to this service. The kindergarten is run by a Trust committee.

Children start in the afternoons from 2½ and progress to mornings when staff and parents feel they are ready, and there is a place for them. 20 Hours ECE are available for all three, four and five year olds who attend our kindergarten.

We provide high quality preschool education. This includes 100% trained kindergarten teachers in all sessions, and higher teacher-child ratios than as regulated by the Ministry of Education in most sessions. A fee schedule is available.

There is plenty of parking behind the Kindergarten. If you can’t park on the same side as the Kindergarten, park down the back.
