The aspirations of parents are integral to the programme that we provide. Underlying these is our commitment to upholding Christian values and beliefs and ensuring these are reflected and provided for in our programme and resources.

Our small group sizes and excellent teacher-child ratios enable us to engage in warm, responsive relationships with the children and families in our care. Children learn best through play, and are encouraged to increase their capabilities, discover new knowledge and take responsibility for managing themselves and their own learning. Coming alongside are our teachers who are intentional in the support, inspiration and guidance they bring to nurture and extend children's interests.

Our passionate and professional teaching team provides a stimulating and challenging programme planned according to the principles and goals of Te Whāriki, the national curriculum. Teachers ensure that the learning that they have noticed in children and the dispositions that they have recognised, are then responded to through a variety of experiences provided for in the programme. Children make their own choices in relation to the activities that they become involved with. Learning stories go home with children so that as a partnership, the centre and family can work to develop the possible next steps for the child. Evidence of and celebration of this new learning and development can be seen in their individual portfolios and the colourful art and group enquiry walls throughout the Kindergarten. Children are allowed to learn at their own pace, always being encouraged to develop to their full potential. Christian values and teaching are interwoven into the programme in a very natural way and include Bible stories and songs and Christian celebrations (Easter and Christmas).
